The truth is everyone will die. And nobody wants to die – heck even those who want to go to heaven don’t want to die in order to get there.
Still, knowing that you will one day die is very empowering; as Steve Jobs explains in the video below, when you remember that you will one day be dead it washes away all the things that stop us from truly following our heart such as expectations from others, fear of failure or embarrassment and pride.
Remember that your time is limited, so spend it doing what you love and not doing what others want you to do. As Steve said in the video, ask yourself “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today?”
If there answer is no then you know what you need to do.
